Stefan Belz

Stefan Belz is a German politician serving as the Lord Mayor of Böblingen since 2018. Before entering politics, he worked as an aerospace engineer and research associate, having earned a degree and a doctorate in aerospace engineering from the University of Stuttgart. A member of the Alliance 90/The Greens party, he previously served on the Böblingen municipal council. He was first elected as mayor in 2018 and was re-elected for a second term in 2026.
