Stefan Hebbel

Stefan Hebbel is a German politician who has served as the Lord Mayor of Leverkusen since November 1, 2025. A member of the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), he previously served as a member of the Leverkusen City Council starting in 2009 and led the CDU faction there from 2018. Before his election as mayor, Hebbel had a long career in law enforcement, beginning his training as a police officer in 1995 and later serving in the criminal investigation department and the Ministry of the Interior of North Rhine-Westphalia.
