Steffen Quasebarth

Steffen Quasebarth is a German politician and former television presenter who serves as a member of the Landtag of Thuringia and as its Vice President. Before entering politics, he had a long career in media, most notably as a presenter for the MDR program Thüringen Journal from 1992 to 2024. He also worked as a radio host and as a station voice for KIKA. In 2024, he joined the Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance (BSW) and was elected to the state parliament, where he focuses on education, science, and cultural policy.
