Stella Atyang

Stella Atyang is a Ugandan politician currently serving as the District Woman Representative for Moroto in the Parliament of Uganda. She first assumed office on April 26, 2017, following a by-election held to fill the vacancy left by the death of her niece, Annie Logiel. Atyang ran as the candidate for the National Resistance Movement and was declared elected unopposed after opposition parties declined to field candidates in honor of the deceased incumbent. She continues to represent the interests of the women of Moroto in the national legislature.
