Stephan Tiesler

Stephan Tiesler is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Thuringia, representing the Saale-Holzland-Kreis I constituency. Born in Jena, he completed training as an industrial clerk and studied business informatics at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena. Tiesler has served as the mayor of Hummelshain since 2010 and previously worked as a team leader at the municipal utilities of Jena. In the state parliament, he serves as the forestry and hunting policy spokesperson for the CDU faction and chairs the Saale-Holzland-Kreis works committee.
