Stephan van Baarle

Stephan van Baarle is a Dutch politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives since 2021 and as the parliamentary leader of the party Denk since 2023. Born in Rotterdam, he studied sociology at Erasmus University Rotterdam and began his political career as a policy officer and think tank director for Denk. Before entering national politics, he served on the Rotterdam municipal council from 2018 to 2022. Van Baarle is known for his focus on combating racism, discrimination, and xenophobia, and he has been a vocal critic of Dutch policies regarding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
