Stephanie Sauder is an American politician currently serving as a member of the South Dakota Senate, representing the 4th legislative district since 2025. Prior to her election to the Senate, she served in the South Dakota House of Representatives from 2023 to 2024 and held the position of mayor of Bryant, South Dakota, for eight years. A retired educator, Sauder taught in the Hamlin School District for over 30 years and later became the editor of the Bryant Dakotan newspaper. She is a graduate of Dakota State University and Northern State University, and she remains active in various community and civic organizations, including the South Dakota Federation of Republican Women.
