Stephen Dunne

Stephen Dunne is a Northern Ireland politician serving as a Member of the Northern Ireland Assembly for North Down since June 2021. A member of the Democratic Unionist Party, he also serves as the party's spokesperson for sports. Prior to his assembly role, Dunne served as a councillor on the Ards and North Down Borough Council starting in 2013, where he was re-elected in 2014 and 2019. He was co-opted to the Northern Ireland Assembly to succeed his father, Gordon Dunne.
