Stephen Sherbourne, Baron Sherbourne of Didsbury, is a British Conservative politician and life peer who has served as a member of the House of Lords since 2013. Born in Manchester, he was educated at St Edmund Hall, Oxford, where he studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Throughout his career, he has held significant roles in British politics, including serving as Political Secretary to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and as chief of staff to Conservative leader Michael Howard. Known for his advocacy of liberal democracy and free-market principles, he was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 1988 and was knighted in 2006 for his public service.
