Stijn Bex

Stijn Bex is a Belgian politician representing the Groen party. Born in Diest in 1976, he studied law at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven and began his political career with the Volksunie and later Spirit, before serving as a member of the Chamber of Representatives from 2003 to 2007. After periods with sp.a and working as a cabinet staff member and guardian for unaccompanied minor refugees, he served as a member of the Flemish Parliament from 2019 to 2024. In 2024, he joined the Parliament of the Brussels-Capital Region, where he also acts as floor leader for his party.
