Stuart Peach is a British life peer and retired senior Royal Air Force officer who currently sits as a crossbencher in the House of Lords. Before entering the legislature, he had a distinguished military career, serving as Chief of the Defence Staff from 2016 to 2018 and as Chairman of the NATO Military Committee until 2021. He also served as the Prime Minister's Special Envoy for the Western Balkans. He was created Baron Peach in 2022 and appointed a Knight Companion of the Order of the Garter in 2024.
