Surendra Prasad Yadav

Surendra Prasad Yadav is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of Parliament in the 18th Lok Sabha, representing the Jahanabad constituency in Bihar. A long-time associate of Lalu Prasad Yadav, he has had a prolific career in state politics, having been elected to the Bihar Legislative Assembly eight times between 1990 and 2020. During his tenure in state government, he held several ministerial portfolios, including Co-operative, Excise, and Industry. He previously served as a member of the 12th Lok Sabha from 1998 to 1999 before returning to the national parliament in 2024.
