Susumu Homma is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the Chiba Prefectural Assembly, representing the Chuo Ward of Chiba City. First elected to the Chiba City Council in 1983, he transitioned to the prefectural assembly in 1991 and has since been re-elected multiple times. Beyond his legislative career, Homma has an extensive background in the arts, having appeared in several films during the 1970s and 1980s, including a lead role in the 1976 film 'Aah!! Hana no Oendan'. He is also active in local sports associations and serves as a visiting professor at Takushoku University, where he holds a master's degree in local political and administrative studies.
