Takumi Suzuki is a Japanese politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives for the Liberal Democratic Party. Born in Hitachi, Ibaraki, he pursued a career in the culinary arts, graduating from the Hattori Nutrition College and studying at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. Before entering politics, he managed a family restaurant, worked as a farmer, and was employed by a swimming club management company. He was elected to the House of Representatives in February 2026, securing a seat through the proportional representation block after running in the Ibaraki 5th district. He is the grandson of Masayoshi Suzuki, a former chairman of the Ibaraki Prefectural Assembly.
