Swapan Kumar Das

Swapan Kumar Das is an Indian politician currently serving as a member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly representing the Santipur constituency. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he secured his seat in the 2026 West Bengal Legislative Assembly election after defeating the incumbent candidate. Before entering active politics, Das worked as a professional in the education sector and is a retired teacher. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Santipur College and a B.Ed in Physical Education from Kalyani University.
