Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher

Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher is a Bangladeshi physician, politician, and Islamic scholar serving as a member of the Jatiya Sangsad for the Comilla-11 constituency. He is the Nayeb-e-Ameer and international affairs secretary of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, having previously held parliamentary office from 2001 to 2006. A graduate of Dhaka College and Dhaka Medical College with an MBBS degree, he was active in student politics as president of Islami Chatra Shibir and general secretary of the Dhaka Medical College Student Union.
