Syed Zainul Abedin

Syed Zainul Abedin is a Bangladeshi politician and Member of Parliament representing the Dhaka-4 constituency. Born in Bakerganj Upazila, Barishal District, he earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in Islamic Studies from Bangladesh Islamic University with first-class honors. Professionally, he was previously involved in the banking sector and has established several educational and social institutions, including Talimul Millat Islamia Madrasa and Cordova International School. Active with Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, he won election to the Thirteenth National Parliament in 2026 after a long career in local political and social welfare activities.
