Sylvia Jones

Sylvia Jones is a Canadian politician serving as the Deputy Premier of Ontario and Minister of Health. First elected to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario in 2007 representing Dufferin—Caledon, she has held several cabinet positions, including Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport, Minister of Community Safety and Correctional Services, and Solicitor General. Before entering provincial politics, she worked as an executive assistant to former party leader John Tory. Throughout her career, she has focused on public safety, health policy, and provincial governance.
