Sylviane Noël is a French politician serving as a Senator for the Haute-Savoie department. After studying public law at the University of Savoie and specializing in local government law at the University of Burgundy, she began her career as a parliamentary assistant. She served as the mayor of Nancy-sur-Cluses from 2008 to 2018. In 2018, she succeeded Jean-Claude Carle to become the first woman to represent Haute-Savoie in the Senate, later winning re-election in 2020. A member of The Republicans, she is known for her work on economic affairs and rural development.
