池田宜永

Takahisa Ikeda is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Miyakonojo, Miyazaki Prefecture. Born in Miyakonojo, he graduated from Kyushu University and later earned a master's degree from the University of Tokyo. Before entering politics, he had a distinguished career as a bureaucrat in the Ministry of Finance. He was first elected mayor in 2012 and has since secured multiple re-elections. Throughout his tenure, he has focused on administrative efficiency and digital transformation, including serving as a member of the Digital Society Concept Council under the Digital Agency.
