相馬尊重

Takashige Soma is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Yufu in Oita Prefecture. Born in 1955 in the former Hasama Town, he spent his early career as a local government official, serving in the Hasama Town office and later the Yufu City office following the municipal merger. He served as the Deputy Mayor of Yufu before being elected as Mayor in 2017. He has since secured re-election, including a third term in 2025, continuing his focus on local administration and municipal development.
