高橋邦芳

Kuniyoshi Takahashi is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Murakami in Niigata Prefecture. Born in 1959, he spent much of his career working in local government administration, including roles within the Murakami city office and regional administrative unions. He was first elected mayor in 2015 and has since secured re-election, currently serving his third term. His political platform emphasizes regional development, the improvement of educational environments, the promotion of local agriculture and industry, and the enhancement of regional healthcare and infrastructure. Takahashi is also known for his advocacy against discrimination, having formally requested action from legal authorities to address online human rights violations.
