Takeo Shiine is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Koriyama, Fukushima Prefecture. Born in Hiwada-machi, Koriyama, he graduated from Niigata University's Faculty of Agriculture. Before his election as mayor, he worked as a secretary to House of Councillors member Teruhiko Mashiko and served four consecutive terms as a member of the Fukushima Prefectural Assembly, beginning in 2011. In April 2025, he was elected Mayor of Koriyama with the support of the Constitutional Democratic Party, the Democratic Party for the People, and the Social Democratic Party, succeeding the retiring mayor Masato Shinagawa.
