Tameika Isaac Devine

Tameika Isaac Devine is an American attorney and politician currently serving as a member of the South Carolina Senate, representing the 19th District since 2024. Before her election to the state senate, she served as an at-large member of the Columbia City Council from 2002 to 2021, becoming the first African-American woman to hold that position. An attorney by profession, she has worked as an Assistant Attorney General for South Carolina and is a partner at the law firm Jabber and Isaac. She is active in various legislative committees, including Judiciary and Transportation.
