Tany Yao

Tany Yao is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the constituency of Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo. First elected in 2015 as a member of the Wildrose Party, he later joined the United Conservative Party following its formation. Before entering politics, Yao had a distinguished career as a paramedic and firefighter, notably serving as the Assistant Deputy Chief of Operations for EMS in Wood Buffalo. He has held various parliamentary roles, including serving as a parliamentary secretary for rural health.
