Tasos Chatzivasileiou is a Greek politician who has served as a member of the Hellenic Parliament since 2019, representing the Serres constituency for the centre-right New Democracy party. Born in 1981, he briefly served as a deputy minister of foreign affairs from January to June 2025. He resigned from his ministerial post in June 2025 following his implication in the OPEKEPE scandal, which concerned the mismanagement of European Commission farm subsidies. Despite his resignation from the government, he continues to serve as a member of the Hellenic Parliament.
