Tate Reeves

Tate Reeves is an American politician currently serving as the 65th Governor of Mississippi, a position he has held since 2020. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served as the 32nd Lieutenant Governor of Mississippi from 2012 to 2020 and as the 53rd State Treasurer from 2004 to 2012. Throughout his career, Reeves has maintained a conservative political stance, opposing Medicaid expansion and vaccine mandates while advocating for fiscal policies that emphasize limited government. During his gubernatorial tenure, he signed legislation to retire the state flag featuring Confederate insignia and managed the state's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
