Teresa Morais is a Portuguese politician and jurist currently serving as a Vice-President of the Assembly of the Republic. A member of the Social Democratic Party, she has held several high-level government positions, including Minister of Culture, Equality and Citizenship in 2015 and Secretary of State for Parliamentary Affairs and Equality from 2011 to 2015. Before her political career, she was a university professor and legal advisor. She has been a long-standing member of the Portuguese parliament, representing the party across multiple legislative terms.
