Thakur Prasad Gaire

Thakur Prasad Gaire is a Nepalese politician who served as a member of the House of Representatives of Nepal, representing the Palpa 2 constituency. A member of the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist), Gaire began his political career through student activism, notably serving as the president of the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU). During his parliamentary tenure, he served as the Chairperson of the Monitoring and Evaluation Committee on the Implementation of Directive Principles, Policies and Obligations of the State. He was first elected to the House of Representatives in the 2022 general election but was defeated in his bid for re-election in the 2026 general election.
