Thomas C. Alexander

A member of the Republican Party, he has represented South Carolina's 1st Senate District since 1994, having previously served in the South Carolina House of Representatives from 1986 to 1994. Throughout his career, Alexander has been a conservative voice, focusing on fiscal policy, healthcare legislation, and social issues. He is known for his pro-life stance and his involvement in state redistricting processes. Before his full-time political career, he was a local business owner in Walhalla, South Carolina.
