Thomas de Jesus Fernandes

Thomas de Jesus Fernandes is a German politician and a member of the Landtag of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. First elected to the state parliament in 2016, he has served as a spokesperson for social, sports, and media policy, and as deputy chairman of the AfD parliamentary group. Before entering politics, he worked as a construction worker and later managed his own scaffolding business. Fernandes is also a member of the Schwerin city council and has been involved in various parliamentary investigative committees, including those focused on welfare funding transparency.
