Thomas Lippmann is a German politician and trade unionist who has served as a member of the Landtag of Saxony-Anhalt since 2016. Before entering state parliament, he worked as a teacher and school principal in Wallwitz and held a long-standing leadership role in the Education and Science Workers' Union (GEW) in Saxony-Anhalt. A member of The Left party, he previously served as the parliamentary group leader in the Landtag from 2017 to 2021. His political career also includes experience in local government as a council member in Petersberg and the Saalekreis district.
