Thomas Walsh

Thomas P. Walsh is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Massachusetts House of Representatives for the 12th Essex district. A member of the Democratic Party, Walsh has held this seat since 2016, having previously represented the same district from 1987 to 1995. His extensive local government experience includes serving on the Peabody City Council from 1984 to 1987 and again from 2014 to 2016, as well as a tenure on the Peabody School Committee from 1998 to 2001. Since his return to the state legislature in 2016, he has maintained his position without facing further electoral opposition.
