
Mary Frances Clardy

Mary Frances Clardy is an American politician and educator serving as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives for District 53A since 2023. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, she has focused her legislative work on education finance, school safety, and public health awareness, particularly regarding dementia and Alzheimer's disease. Before her election, Clardy worked as a teacher in Saint Paul, served as a housing advocate, and held appointments on the Minnesota Board of Teaching and the Minnesota Board of School Administrators. She is a member of the House People of Color and Indigenous (POCI) Caucus and the Black Maternal Health Caucus.
