Tineke Huizinga

Tineke Huizinga is a Dutch politician and member of the Christian Union. Born in 1960, she began her political career in the Heerenveen municipal council before serving in the House of Representatives from 2002 to 2010. During her tenure in the fourth Balkenende cabinet, she served as the State Secretary for Transport and Public Works, where she managed portfolios including water management and public transport infrastructure. She currently serves as a member of the Senate of the Netherlands, continuing her focus on social and religious issues.
