Tinet de Jonge-Ruitenbeek

Tinet de Jonge-Ruitenbeek is a Dutch politician serving as the Mayor of Nijkerk since December 2024, becoming the first woman to hold the position. Born in Holkerveen, she previously pursued a career in law enforcement, serving as a senior spokesperson for the police and later as a district investigation team chief in Rotterdam-Delfshaven. Before her appointment as mayor, she was active in local politics as a council member and faction leader for the Christian Democratic Appeal (CDA) in the municipality of Zuidplas from 2014 to 2022.
