Thomas Emmett Dent is an American politician serving as a member of the Washington House of Representatives for the 13th Legislative District. First elected in 2014, he has maintained his seat while representing his constituents in the state legislature. Before entering politics, Dent established a long career as a pilot, founding Tom Dent Aviation in 1977, and served as a commissioner for the Moses Lake Municipal Airport. He is also a cattle and bison rancher and a former chairman of the Grant County Republican Party.
