Tom Gordon

Tom Gordon is a British Liberal Democrat politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Harrogate and Knaresborough since 2024. Born and raised in Knottingley, he holds a degree in biochemistry and a Master of Public Health from Newcastle University. Before his election to Parliament, Gordon worked in scientific recruitment, health services research, and the charitable sector. He previously served as a local councillor on Newcastle City Council and Wakefield Council. In Parliament, he is a member of the Science, Innovation and Technology Select Committee and has been an active participant in debates regarding assisted dying legislation.
