Tommy Stanton is an Australian local government politician currently serving as the Mayor of Brewarrina Shire in New South Wales. An independent councillor, he was re-elected to the Brewarrina Shire Council in the 2024 local government elections. As Mayor, he leads the nine-member council responsible for governing the shire, a region known for its wool and cotton production along the Darling River. Stanton has been a consistent presence in local governance, having also served on the council following the 2021 elections.
