沢田 智文

Tomofumi Sawada is a Japanese politician currently serving as a member of the Shizuoka Prefectural Assembly, representing the city of Iwata. Born in 1969, he graduated from Shizuoka University and spent many years working as an elementary school teacher and in municipal sports administration. He also held leadership roles within the Shizuoka Teachers' Union before his first election to the prefectural assembly in 2019. His political philosophy centers on dialogue, mutual support, and fostering a harmonious society. He has served in various committee roles, including chair of the Construction Committee, and is active in addressing education reform, disaster prevention, and social welfare issues.
