瀧澤智子

Tomoko Takizawa is a Japanese politician currently serving as the Mayor of Ikeda City in Osaka Prefecture. Born in Miki, Hyogo, she graduated from Konan Women's University and previously worked in the securities industry. She began her political career as a member of the Ikeda City Council before being elected mayor in 2021, becoming the first female mayor in Osaka Prefecture. She was re-elected unopposed in 2025. Her administration has focused on fiscal reform, including pledges to reduce mayoral salary and eliminate retirement bonuses.
