Torrey Harris

Torrey Harris is an American politician serving as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for the 91st district. Elected in 2020 and assuming office in January 2021, he made history alongside Eddie Mannis as one of the first two openly LGBTQ individuals elected to the Tennessee state legislature. Representing parts of Memphis, Harris has focused his legislative career on local community issues and advocacy. He previously defeated incumbent John DeBerry in the 2020 election and has since secured re-election in his district.
