Torsten Gahler is a German politician serving as a member of the Landtag of Saxony since 2019. Before entering politics, he worked as a tax official and auditor for the state of Saxony and served as a lecturer at the Berufsakademie Sachsen. A member of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party, he also serves as the state treasurer for the AfD in Saxony and is a member of the city council in Thalheim/Erzgeb. Gahler has been active in public service since the 1990s and has held the position of justice of the peace since 2016.
