Tremaine Teddy Reese

Tremaine Teddy Reese is an American politician and lawyer based in Columbus, Georgia. He was elected to the Georgia House of Representatives in 2022, succeeding longtime politician Calvin Smyre in District 140. Prior to his legislative service, Reese was active in local politics, including a 2016 campaign for the Columbus City Council. In March 2026, he announced his candidacy for the Georgia State Senate seat representing District 15. He continues to serve as a member of the state legislature while pursuing his bid for the Senate.
