Harold L. "Trey" Stewart III is an American politician serving as a member of the Maine Senate, representing District 2 since 2020. A member of the Republican Party, he currently serves as the Senate Minority Leader. Prior to his election to the Senate, Stewart served in the Maine House of Representatives from 2016 to 2020, where he held the position of Assistant Minority Leader. In addition to his legislative career, Stewart is a reservist in the United States Navy and a licensed attorney. He holds a BA in political science and sociology, an MBA, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Maine system.
