Tsvetan Tsenkov

Tsvetan Tsenkov is a Bulgarian politician and medical doctor currently serving his second term as the Mayor of Vidin. Born in Vidin, he graduated from the Medical Academy in Sofia and specialized in internal medicine and cardiology. Before entering politics, he worked as a cardiologist in Bankya and Vidin and served as a consultant at a hospital in Libya. He also founded and managed the Biomed 99 Medical Center for two decades. Tsenkov previously served as a member of the 39th National Assembly and held a position on the board of the National Health Insurance Fund. As mayor, he has focused on leveraging Vidin's strategic location along the Danube to promote regional investment and economic development.
