Uldis Augulis

Uldis Augulis is a Latvian politician and a member of the Saeima, representing the Union of Greens and Farmers. Throughout his career, he has held several ministerial positions, including serving as the Minister of Welfare on multiple occasions between 2009 and 2025, and as the Minister of Transport from 2010 to 2011 and 2016 to 2019. He also served briefly as the acting Minister of Justice in 2010. Augulis holds a bachelor's degree in financial management from the University of Latvia and has been a prominent figure in Latvian national politics since his election to the Saeima in 2011.
