Upasna Mohapatra is an Indian politician currently serving as a Member of the Odisha Legislative Assembly for the Brahmagiri constituency. Elected in 2024, she holds the distinction of being the youngest MLA in the Odisha Assembly. A member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, she entered politics following the legacy of her father, the late Lalatendu Bidyadhar Mohapatra. Mohapatra is a descendant of the historical figure Bakshi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar and has been active in regional politics since 2017, previously serving as a state coordinator for the BJP.
