Urve Tiidus

Urve Tiidus is an Estonian politician, member of the Estonian Reform Party, and former journalist who has served as a member of the Riigikogu since 2011. Born in Rapla, she graduated from the University of Tartu as an English philologist and built a career in television broadcasting, including working as a news anchor for Estonian Television and Kanal 2. She previously served as the Mayor of Kuressaare from 2005 to 2011 and as Estonia's Minister of Culture from 2013 to 2015.
