Uwe Schulz is a German politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2017, representing the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party. Born in Gießen in 1961, he previously held membership in the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) from 1982 to 1995 before joining the AfD in 2013. In 2015, he became a signatory of the Erfurter Resolution. Throughout his parliamentary career, Schulz has focused his political efforts primarily on the digitization of the German business sector.
